Bromakil Super Rat Drink is a concentrated liquid bait containing 0.5% Bromadiolone for the control of Rats and Mice.
Bromakil Super Rat Drink is mainly used for the control of rats however is also effective on mice. Unlike mice, rats need fluids daily. Bromakil Super Rat Drink is a very effective way of eradicating rats in the summer months.
Bromakil Super Rat Drink can be used in conjunction with other rodent baits.

  • 500mL will mix approx 4.5L of liquid bait.
  • 5L will mix approx 45L of liquid bait.

Directions Of Use

Directions for Use:

Areas: Apply where pests occur ie Industrial premises, domestic premises, canteens, bakeries, restaurants, food processing plants, hotels and motels.

Mixing Rate: 100mL per 900 mL Water

Instructions: Stir well to ensure mixing.

Baiting Strategy:

  • Eliminate as far as practicable all alternative drink sources. 
  • Place approximately 150mL of prepared bait solution in non-corrosive containers in sheltered position near rodent entry points.
  •  Inspect daily. If taken quickly, increase the number of baits.
  • Continue observation and replenishment until no more bait is taken. 
  • Baiting for at least 2 weeks is necessary to reduce rat & mouse numbers.

The use of Bromakil Super Rat Drink for the control of protected native rodents requires permissions from wildlife authorities.

    Bromakil Super Rat Drink contains the active ingredient Bromadiolone, a second-generation anticoagulant rodenticide. This means it is highly potent, and a single feed can be enough to deliver a lethal dose to a rat. While a single feed can be deadly, it doesn't mean the rat will die instantly. It typically takes several days (3-5 days) for the effects of the poison to manifest and cause death. While multiple feeds are unnecessary for lethality, rats may consume Bromakil Super Rat Drink numerous times due to its palatability. This can further ensure a lethal dose is ingested.

    Rodenticides made from bromadiolone (i.e. Bromakil Super Rat Drink) have a high secondary poisoning risk. This means that animals that eat rodents that have been poisoned with bromadiolone can themselves become poisoned. This is because bromadiolone is a long-acting anticoagulant, which means it stays in the rodent's system for a long time. As a result, even a small amount of bromadiolone can be poisonous to other animals, including cats and dogs.

Tips For Use

Restraints:

  • Do not exceed 3m between baits for mice or 9m for rats.
  • Do not place baits in open spaces.
  • Do not use in areas exposed to rain or excessive moisture.

Precautions:

  • Do not allow bait to contaminate foodstuffs or feed intended for human or animal consumption. 
  • Place baits in locations which are inaccessible to other animals and birds.
  • This product is hazardous to pigs, cats, dogs, native wildlife and poultry.

Storage:

Store in the closed, original container in a caool, well ventilated area.  Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Safety Directions:

  • Very dangerous. 
  • Poisonous if absorbed by skin contact or swallowed. 
  • Will irritate the eyes and skin.
  • Repeated minor exposure may have a cumulative poisoning effect.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
  • When preparing baits, wear PVC or rubber apron, elbow length  PVC gloves, face shield and impervious footwear.
  • If product gets on skin, immediately was area with soap and water and after each baiting, wash thoroughly with soap and water.  
  • After use and before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash gloves, face shield and contaminated clothing.

  • If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Telephone 13 1126.
